Below are a few examples of interesting rooms with splashes of blue:
1) I also love interesting headboards. This bedroom features a tall bamboo screen, spray-painted bright blue. I happen to think it looks pretty fantastic.
2) Another fabulous headboard. This one was created using antique doors. The pale blue coverlet and other blue accents soften the rustic wood elements.
3) I love the dramatic statement this cabinet makes. To get this look; remove the kitchen cupboards, wallpaper the back wall and paint the bottom cabinets and top shelves a bright colour. Displaying white dishes keeps the cabinet from looking too cluttered.
4) I love this bathroom because it is so breezy and eclectic. Sarah Richardson went for a similar look in her farmhouse by painting a claw foot tub yellow. I loved it in yellow and I love it in blue. (via House and Home)
